What percentage of each product is made from waste material?

There is no single percentage for every product because the share depends on its design and the materials available. Product pages describe the composition and often state the weight of waste saved; some paper products use 100% upcycled paper.

What does an upcycled product mean?

Upcycling gives waste or otherwise unused material a new purpose. Reformát mainly processes paper, alongside surplus leather, textiles and Tyvek®, turning these materials into useful products designed for a longer life.

Where do the production materials come from?

Materials come from sources such as printing-house offcuts, collection yards and surplus supplied by companies or other partners. The exact origin and composition vary by product and by the materials currently available.

Why can individual products look slightly different?

Colour, texture and small details can vary with the reclaimed material available at the time of production. These differences are not defects; they are a natural result of upcycled, handmade production and make every piece unique.

Where are Reformát products made?

Reformát products are handmade in the Czech Republic using bookbinding craft and graphic design. The materials, dimensions and other properties of each item are listed on its individual product page.

Do you also make custom products?

Yes. Reformát creates custom products for companies and organisations, including notebooks, diaries, catalogues, packaging and gifts. Design, materials, quantity and delivery dates are agreed individually for each brief.
