Upcycling Workshop for Companies (profi)
Looking for an experience that isn’t waiting for you in an office? Come spend a creative afternoon with your colleagues at a bookbinding workshop. Get to know the craft of bookbinding and make your own product, which you won’t find anywhere else, under our guidance. You’ll be inspired by the old printed matter we use in our work and by your colleagues. The workshop is also suitable for absolute beginners, so in addition to relaxation, creative work will give you plenty of time to chat with others in peace.
What can you produce?
You can choose from four products:
- photo album – a block of thicker paper with Japanese binding in hardcover
- travel diary – a block of thinner paper in softcover, with the sections sewn together
- herb book – a block of thinner paper in hardcover with Coptic binding
- diary – a block of thinner paper in softcover, with the sections sewn together, open spine binding
What can you expect at the workshop?
- Definitions of recycling and upcycling, introduction to bookbinding machines
- Explanation of the workflow, selection of materials, creation of products under the teacher’s guidance
- Product finishing, WS finishing
We use waste and residual materials for production. Do you have old paper that could be used? Bring it with you to the workshop.
