Upcycling Workshop for Companies (basic) with Lecture

Do you want to create something with your hands and learn something new? Through a lecture with a slide show we will show how to approach creation and production sustainably. At the workshop we will then practically introduce you to the principle of upcycling and why it can be more useful than recycling. The workshop is also suitable for absolute beginners, so in addition to relaxation, creative work will give you plenty of time to chat with others in peace.

What can you produce?

You can choose from three products:

1. pocket notepad with screws – softcover notepad bound with bookbinding screws and complete with elastic band
2. notebook – A5 notebook with staples or thread binding, with a handy pocket and elastic band
3. ring-bound pocket notepad – hardcover ring-bound notepad, complete with elastic band

What can you expect at the workshop?

1. Through a 30-minute lecture with a slide show, we will introduce you to the Reformat project and its approach to sustainable production.
2. Introduction to bookbinding machines. Explanation of the workflow, selection of materials, creation of products under the teacher’s guidance
3. Product finishing, WS finishing

We use waste and residual materials for production. Do you have old paper that could be used? Bring it with you to the workshop.
